Easton Garden Club Plants 400 Daffodil Bulbs Throughout the Town
The Easton Garden Club continued its efforts to beautify the town of Easton by planting 400 daffodil bulbs in four Town locations including: Aspetuck Four Corners, Staples School, Union Cemetery War Memorial and the corner of Bibbins and Sport Hill Roads.

Other team members included Ameila Coelho, Lisa Colasante, Cheryl Frier, Catherine French, Linda Gray, Alyssa Mocco, Jean Puchalski, Lauren Ryng, Alka Sood and Doris Us.
The effort, which began with the planting of 400 bulbs in other locations around town in 2009, is spearheaded by EGC Civic Chair Cheryl Frier.

Sydney Eddison Speaks at Joint Meeting of Easton and Redding Garden Clubs
Noted gardening expert Sydney Eddison spoke at a joint meeting of the Easton and Redding Garden Clubs on Wednesday, October 13, 2010. Eddison touched on topics from her latest book, Gardening for a Lifetime: How to Garden Wiser as You Grow Older.
Redding Garden Club Co-Presidents Ruth Moran and Lynn Ruffing and Easton Garden Club President Cynthia Carlson joined Eddison prior to the author signing copies of her latest book.
Janet Gordon, Second Vice President and Program Chair, Easton Garden Club, introduced Eddison.
Jennifer Weibel, First Vice President and Program Chair, Redding Garden Club, thanks Eddison for speaking.
